Tutoring Policies
Cancellation Policy
Tutor and client must give each other 4 hours to reschedule or cancel an appointment, otherwise the tutor owes the client a make-up session or the client pays for the tutor's reserved time. If a group does not register the minimum number of students, parents will be notified 72 hours before the first class and offered a similar service of equal or greater value.
Scheduling + Payments
In order to confirm an appointment for private tutoring, you must agree to keep a credit card on file that Wagner Prep is authorized to charge for services rendered. Wagner Prep sends out invoices on the 1st of the month and processes payments 3 days after the invoice is sent.
Wagner Prep makes the best effort to send a reminder to the student or their parents at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled tutoring session or mock test. We can not guarantee the delivery of any automated reminder. It is the student's responsibility to keep up with their schedule and communicate changes/conflicts with their tutor.
Refunds
We offer a full money back guarantee within the first calendar month of lessons. We stand behind our engaging, energetic tutors who have helped dozens of students boost their scores. While it is impossible to predict the outcome of a test ahead of time, our tutors will do their best to make the lessons relatable and enjoyable.
Late Payments
We reserve the right to apply late fees and suspend tutoring for late payment. If you have a question about your bill, or you have a dispute with the charges in your current statement, please contact us.
Non-solicitation Agreement
By becoming a Wagner Prep customer, you agree that you will not solicit for employment, hire, or engage as an independent contractor, or permit any organization directly or indirectly controlled by you to solicit for employment, hire, or engage as an independent contractor, any person employed by Wagner Prep at any time during the term of Wagner Prep’s provision of services to you. Any additional services desired of a Wagner Prep employee may be requested through Wagner Prep at 1-718-440-4671.
Session Recordings
All virtual sessions are recorded and may be viewed for quality assurance and training purposes. Upon special request, recordings of a session may be distributed to enrolled students in case of absence or review.

Schools
We work with schools and institutions to provide our test preparation programs. Wagner Prep may share personally identifiable information that you provide to us through your participation in these school programs with your school, district and parents. In addition, your school may require us to share your information with others legally entitled to access your academic records, such as your state department of education.
To increase quality of instruction, Wagner Prep will share attendance records and practice test results with a student’s school counselor and/or the appropriate administration staff, who also have access to a student’s official test scores. Those with access to such records have agreed to maintain confidentiality. If statistics are released to non-authorized individuals, we will remove any identifying information.
Sharing of Information
The privacy of individual user data for school administrators, teachers, parents, and students is always respected and protected. We will never disclose, sell, or rent personal information that identifies any of our students without specific authorization to do so. Only the student, the teacher, the school administration, and the parent(s) have access to this information. Each school has agreed to maintain the confidentiality of this information. Wagner Prep retains the right to release aggregate performance information provided this information is not personally identifiable by district, school or individual students and teachers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately, after they are posted on this page.
